Copyright and usage

My work is informed by professional know-how and a design methodology that I have developed through my independent creative practice, experimentation and experience.

While I'm happy to share finished work and talk about the ideas behind it, my detailed methods, techniques, working processes and development practices are confidential professional know-how. They are not publicly disclosed and are not automatically included when I undertake creative work for an organisation or client.

Access to my detailed methodology, including requests to document it, reproduce it, create training materials from it, or train other people to use my methods,  requires my express agreement and may be commissioned separately as consultancy or training.

My generosity with ideas should never be mistaken for a transfer of ownership.

I do not give permission for my work to be uploaded, submitted or supplied to generative AI systems or other machine-learning tools without my express written consent.

This includes my artwork, illustrations, designs, photographs, writing, concepts as expressed in my work, development materials, working files, templates and other original creative material.

I do not grant permission for my work to be used for:

training, fine-tuning or developing AI or machine-learning systems;

generating new work based upon, derived from or intended to imitate my work;

analysing my work for the purpose of reproducing my creative style, methods or techniques;

creating prompts, datasets, models or other materials intended to replicate elements of my work;

extracting or attempting to reconstruct my professional know-how, design methodology or working processes; or

uploading my work to an AI service on my behalf or for use by another person or organisation.

The fact that my work is publicly viewable online does not mean that I consent to its use in generative AI systems.

If you would like to use my work in connection with AI, machine learning or another automated system, please contact me for permission first.

These materials may contain original copyright work and professional know-how and are not automatically included as part of a finished commission.

I often share ideas and creative work generously and informally.

Showing or discussing my work does not mean that I am giving it away.

Informal sharing of artwork, designs, prototypes, development materials or other original work should not be interpreted as a transfer of copyright or unrestricted permission to reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit that work.

The name Granny Trolley Activism™ is used as a trade mark associated with my independent creative practice. 

The original artwork, written materials, illustrations, designs, development materials and other copyright works I create as part of Granny Trolley Activism are protected by copyright where applicable.

My detailed design methodology, techniques and professional know-how associated with the development of the project are not made available for unrestricted reproduction or knowledge transfer.

Please contact me before using the Granny Trolley Activism™ name in connection with another project, event, publication, service, training programme or commercial activity.
